“Risen” Civil Rights Era Statue received landscaping by HBCU Students. Streets were cleared of debris. Lieutenant Bill Nungesser visited to see the construction of the Joe W. Brown Park Carousel underway. Several utility boxes are being painted by local New Orleans artists along Read Blvd @ Lake Forest Blvd.

Arts New Orleans

Hosted in the Audubon Louisiana Nature Center, “Dancing for Social Change,” a Friday night fundraiser for Dancing Grounds and a free-open to the public Saturday led to the enjoyment of music, speaker sessions, and art unveiling on park benches and in a Bird Rest Area.

Art for New Orleans shared snowballs, burritos, music, and crafts for visitors to the Nature Center and Planetarium.
